The Architects Inn George Champlin Mason House was built in 1873 as the private residence of a famous Newport "Golden Age" architect. Located in a historic neighborhood off prestigious Bellevue Avenue, this Victorian inn offers guests a relaxing vacation in the heart of Newport's beauty. A delectable full breakfast is served each morning, by the fire in winter and on the porch overlooking the garden in summer. Guests are welcome to relax in the parlor or the library, each of which has a fire going seasonally. Afternoon refreshments and evening sherry are served daily. While staying at the inn, guests will enjoy amenities and services, including daily newspaper, business services, a movie library, free local calls, and complimentary parking. Within walking distance from the inn, guests will find Newport's beautiful beaches, harbor, shopping, museums, and fabulous restaurants.

All guest rooms are elegant, spacious accommodations providing period furnishings, private baths, cable television with VCR, air conditioning, a working fireplace, and a comfortable seating area.

This property requires a two night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals. A three night minimum is required for all Holidays and 8/5/05 8/7/05, 8/12/05 8/14/05, 8/4/06 8/6/06 and 8/11/06 8/13/06.
