Beachrunners' Inn was built as a spacious single family home in 1913 and has been restored to highlight the characteristics found in Craftsman homes of the period. In the evenings, relax in the comfortable living room or walk to one of the fine restaurants in the neighborhood. The guest living room features a fireplace, for wintry evenings, large wingback chairs, a comfortable couch, daily reading material and all the comforts of home. The living room also features a laptop computer with Internet connection so that guests can check email, search out local events or attend to other on line business. The sunny guest breakfast room has large windows and earthy wooden furniture. You'll be treated to a complimentary continental breakfast from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. each morning, with a hot pot of coffee always ready for the early risers at 6:30 a.m. The innkeepers take special pride in the backyard a fully landscaped retreat, complete with greenery, two bubbling fountains, a Jacuzzi and patio, with chairs where you can sit and relax have a private moment, or share one. In addition to the amenities they offer inside the Inn, they also have bicycles available to ride along the nearby beach bike path that runs from the Marina and RMS Queen Mary, all the way to the canals of Naples and beyond. Our guest rooms have been restored to highlight their original Craftsman details, and have been furnished with quality, comfortable beds and other furnishings, including a television with cable and a VCR in every room.
