Prince Solms Inn's main building features two luxury suites on the first floor and eight guest rooms on the second floor, all with private baths. The beautiful front entry doors are 10 feet high and contain exquisitely detailed etched glass. These doors came from a hotel in Galveston that was destroyed by hurricanes in the 1920's. The bronze fittings that hold the doors were purchased in Europe. The beautiful parlor showcases several pieces of furniture originally put here in 1898. There is memorabilia from the old days as well as items left by prior guests. Also, the inn showcases a Stieff piano from 1879 in the parlor] The hallways showcase articles, pictures, and other documents of the inn's history here in New Braunfels as well as success stories of the Inn. There are beautiful pieces of furniture and china adorning the corners and walls of the Inn.
All of the suites and rooms are furnished with sturdy antiques, exceptional lighting fixtures, and carefully chosen paintings and prints. Rooms also include cable television, radio/alarm clock, dial up Internet access and telephone service. |
