This historic red brick former schoolhouse was built in 1905. The Roosevelt has been completely remodeled and furnished with antiques throughout. The beautiful red brick building with its steeple, shaded by maple trees, offers traditional elegance with modern comforts and warm hospitality. Two antique furnished parlors and dining area feature several lovely lead glass windows, and a hand painted mural welcomes you on the main floor. In addition, a winding rose mural runs up the wall along the original school staircase. There is a hot tub for 10 people and a sauna on the property as well. A full gourmet breakfast, pleasing to the eye and satisfying to the tummy, is served each morning.
Each of the rooms are climate controlled for your comfort. All rooms have queen sized beds, private baths and/or showers, and some rooms offer a view of the lake. In addition, all of the rooms are charmingly furnished with antiques. Additionally, there are two bedroom suites, which are ideal for family or group travelers. The inn also provides accessibility and customized accommodations for the physically challenged. |
