This 1890's residence has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated to bring back the carefree turn of the century ambience with guests' comfort and enjoyment in mind. The Inn features a colorful decor with quiet charm, interesting old fashioned windows, wainscoting, beautiful wallpapers, commissioned photography of U.S. National Parks, redwood moldings and fireplaces coordinated to please the eye and relax the spirit. Guests can relax in the hot tub located on the private redwood deck or stroll through the rose gardens.
Complimentary taste tempting breakfasts served at the Inn include the signature breakfast, baked eggs on a bed of artichoke hearts, or the Portuguese toast, or the famous Finnish pancake (they've been serving these for 15 years, mushroom spinach quiche, Belgian waffles with a delightful apricot sauce and many more delicious breakfast entrees. All of the breakfasts are served with either a side of fruit, fruit sauce or potatoes and, of course, a locally roasted coffee, Thanksgiving coffee, an organically grown speciality. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the sunny breakfast room or in the privacy of their room.
Each room at the Country Inn offers memories of a place in time that is warm and comforting. Eight charming accommodations have a queen or king bed, private bath, and two have a fireplace. Rooms may be next to the redwood sundeck, at the top of the redwood banistered stairs, or through a cozy sky lighted parlor.
This property requires a two night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals.
