The Terrace Inn is a Historic Bed & Breakfast Inn, which was opened for business in 1911 and is now a National Historic Landmark. The Inn retains the turn of the century charm and remains a quiet retreat from the cares of everyday life. Established as a spiritual and cultural retreat in 1875, Bay View is designated as a National Historic Site. While the Inn is open to the public year round, Bay View cottages are privately owned and close between November and May. Elegant leather and rattan chairs create a nostalgic, comfortable atmosphere for lounging by the fire, reading, chatting or enjoying a sip of wine & conversation. The fact that there are not televisions or telephones here is considered an amenity to guests who come to get away from the noise and distractions. All rooms feature air conditioning, wireless Internet access, alarm/clock radios, smoke detectors, premium linens, beautiful quilts and historic architecture. Hair dryers, irons, ice and ice buckets are available at the front desk.
This property requires a two night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals. |
