| The Wild Iris Inn was built in New England in 1894 as a two family home. The Victorian style house sits near a lighthouse on the East Coast of Maine and retains many of its original features. Located in a historic neighborhood in downtown Portland, the inn offers travelers a comfortable place to spend the night. Kick back in the cozy living room, which features a TV with HBO, VCR, stereo, videos, games, and books. After a busy day, return to the inn and relax in the cozy common room or sit in the backyard garden and plan for dinner at one of Portland's many outstanding restaurants. Included in the stay is a buffet breakfast consisting of homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruit in season, and an assortment of homemade breads or muffins. There is also a business center on site with a computer, wireless Internet connection, and a printer/copier/fax machine. The Wild Iris Inn has seven guest rooms with five private baths.
