Nestled on 100 acres in the Northern Catskill Mountains, this four story Victorian Inn overlooks a private lake has been welcoming guests since 1865 with its friendly, relaxed, and casual atmosphere. The inn has a excellent full restaurant with a cocktail lounge which is more like a cozy living room with a fireplace, big screen television, easy chairs, and a coffee table with chess and checkers ready for play. A six acre lake sits by the inn and provides a peaceful sense of country on spacious grounds. A full breakfast is served every morning with tea, coffee, and dinner only available by request. Guests can have breakfast in bed by requests, too. Guests can relax by the Jacuzzi in their rooms or the common fireplace to unwind. They can also mingle in the common sitting room or head out to the lake for some peace and quiet. A veranda is available for relaxing and viewing the beauty of mother nature. For a delightful evening, eat at the inn's restaurant for some good food. Also take advantage of the inn's free local calls and the business services they offer. Each splendid room has its own personality whether it be a country theme or bold with color. All rooms have air conditioning, an alarm clock radio, cable TV, and smoke detectors. A hair dryer and a VCR are available at the front desk. Guest rooms also have a coffeemaker. Some rooms are unique in the fact they have a fireplace and a whirlpool bath to help guests relax after a day of adventure. Some rooms even have a refrigerator and a DVD player.
A charge of $15 per night will be assessed for guests under the age of seven if beddding needs to be set up. A service fee of $3.50 per guest will be charged at check in. |
