Location. Hotel Zoso is adjacent to the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation in Palm Springs, Calif. The hotel is approximately one quarter mile from the Palm Springs Fashion Plaza and Downtown Palm Springs. The Palm Springs Convention Center is less than one mile away. The hotel is within two miles of the Palm Springs Mall. Oasis Water Resort is within five miles.
Hotel Features. With an adobe style exterior and pyramid inspired dome, Hotel Zoso's clean lines and contrasting colors span four acres. The hotel includes Olivz, a restaurant serving Mediterranean inspired cuisine prepared with fresh local produce. The lobby bar features contrasting light and dark woods and dark leather. Drinks, smoothies and snacks are served at the poolside bar. The hotel's outdoor pool is surrounded by a spa tub and chaise lounges. A pool playground is provided. The hotel includes 22,000 square feet of event space.
Guestrooms. Hotel Zoso's guestrooms offer beds with 350 thread count triple sheeting and down bedspreads. Red accents complement earthy brown and bright white fabrics. Rooms feature 42 inch plasma televisions and MP3 docking stations. Desks with Herman Miller ergonomic chairs are included. Furnished balconies or patios provide city, pool or mountain views. Bathrooms offer travertine countertops and rainfall showerheads. Egyptian cotton towels and Aveda products are included.
Expert Tip. Hotel Zoso offers daily happy hours in the lobby with half price appetizers. Live music is played Thursday through Saturday. On one Tuesday each month, the hotel hosts a celebrity to come in and serve as a bartender with the proceeds of drink specials going to charity. On Thursdays during happy hour, the hotel features complimentary palm readings.
